What you’ll be doing

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to give strategic guidance and best practice recommendations to ensure robust recovery planning, system resilience, and rapid restoration of critical IT services. Advise on the implementation of advanced recovery protocols to safeguard organisational operations.
  • Oversee the execution of all activities outlined in the Business Continuity Programme to maintain and uphold the Bank’s ISO 22301 certification.
  • Partner with Business and IT teams to ensure disaster recovery, crisis management, and business continuity plans effectively support and drive the overall DR strategy and procedures.
  • Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive testing programme covering Business Continuity, IT Disaster Recovery, and Crisis/Incident Management, including assurance for key third-party providers.
  • Promote IT DR and Business Continuity awareness across IT and business units and provide guidance, support, and training where needed.

About You

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Proven experience in a similar or comparable business role.
  • Good technical, analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proven experience in developing IT DR plans and co-ordinating IT DR testing activities or similar experience in other Business and IT related planning activities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining a crisis management framework
  • Highly self-motivated and adaptable team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Able to take initiative and work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment.
