What you’ll be doing

  • Support the structuring of wholesale funding for the Group including Bank of England funding, securitisations, covered bonds and unsecured debt.
  • Help to structure and review swap documentation in conjunction with internal / external legal to ensure it accurately reflects the commercial agreement and how the derivative will operate.
  • Support the management of the corporate ratings for the Group and Bank; preparing materials and becoming the subject matter expert of rating criteria.
  • Work with Structured Finance team to prepare and review reporting to stakeholders for securitisations and Regulated Covered Bonds.
  • Build relationships with investment banks, to keep updated on markets and build knowledge.
  • Preparation of debt investor presentations and responses to investor queries.
  • Build relationships with key internal stakeholders and build knowledge on the underlying assets.
  • Conduct research on market trends, peer analysis and provide insights to support decision making. Support the preparation and analysis of reports for senior management.
  • Review and approve the Structured Lending utilisation requests in a timely manner and prepare internal monthly reporting.

About You

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to present findings and interact across the business and with external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Prior experience in capital markets, finance, or a related field is desirable

Working hours

37.5hrs per week 8.30am – 5.00pm
