What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting in the origination, evaluation, and structuring of structured finance opportunities
  • Conducting comprehensive financial due diligence, including detailed analysis of financial statements, loan portfolios and key performance indicators
  • Preparing high-quality credit proposals and supporting presentations for credit committee
  • Monitoring portfolio companies' performance, identifying risks, and contributing to value creation initiatives across the portfolios
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including advisors and management teams
  • Supporting business development efforts by preparing marketing materials, structured finance sector analysis and engaging with potential clients

About You

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to work with and manage data sets, including company financial models, loan portfolios and performance history
  • An understanding of debt structures and loan facilities plus an awareness of trends, emerging risks and other market developments across the UK financial services
  • Ability to project manage, supporting multiple client relationships and transactions at their various stages of evolution through to completion
  •  Ability to review and negotiate structured finance term sheets and legal documentation
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills to help manage new business presentations, term sheets and credit submissions

Qualifications

  • Degree from a leading university or institution in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • Relevant structured finance experience, ideally from mid-market banks or direct lenders, rating agencies, or credit-focused roles in financial services
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel modelling and PowerPoint

Working hours

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - Hybrid role.
