About the Role

Purpose of the role
The Team Leader is required to guide, instruct, direct and motivate the Financial Crime team to ensure all objectives are met.
 
Duties and responsibilities
  • Conduct monthly 121s with team members and ensure each member of the team has objectives and a personal development plan
  • Conduct an annual appraisal for each team member
  • Manage the team to ensure workloads are dealt with in order of priority ensuring policies and processes are adhered and SLAs maintained
  • Provide technical support to the team
  • Guide and motivate the team to meets its objectives
  • Support the team in their dealings with other business areas and external parties
  • Maintain appropriate management information to evidence workloads and activity
  • Lead team meetings encouraging others to participate
  • Represent Paragon at both internal and external meetings
  • Support the Financial Crime Manager and Head of Financial Crime as required

Qualifications and experience
Must hold an appropriate AML qualification recognised by the Financial Services industry. The role may involve travel to industry meetings so a clean drivers licence will be an advantage.
 
Working hours
37.5 hours per week – whilst our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch) we encourage flexible working and your preferred options will be considered.

Training
Relevant training will be provided.
