Brief description
We're looking to add a talented Junior Digital Designer to our in-house team to help us take our online presence to the next level. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role supporting our marketing team in designing and developing engaging content for all our digital channels, including websites, email and advertising.

Purpose of the role
Working in the Digital Design team in the content management of all websites, assisting in the design and development of digital materials produced by the Marketing and Communications teams.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Follow production briefs to produce day-to-day online artwork for all digital channels, including new website content, email marketing and digital advertising
  • Work with the Marketing and Comms teams to add and update website content, ensuring adherence to best practice for web
  • Make improvements and advancements to existing sites
  • Design and build new digital design elements, to be implemented and executed by the Digital Designers and/or IT
  • Ensure brand consistency is maintained through the following of applicable brand guidelines
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with External Relations policies, processes and procedures
  • Be aware of the Group’s risk framework, reporting incidents as appropriate

About You

  • Current knowledge of digital design industry standards and web protocols
  • Good knowledge and understanding of major operating systems and browsers
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritise several projects at once, whilst keeping to set deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and switch focus as required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications and experience
Ideal candidate will have experience of HTML5, email platforms, CSS3, Adobe CC, CMS, Responsive design and SEO.

Working hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch).

Relevant training will be provided.
