About the Role

Purpose of the role
To provide administration support to the Surveyor Admin Team and undertake the various tasks and activities that are associated with the instruction valuation process.

To also provide support to other areas within the business such as Redbrick, New Business and CLS in respect of dealing with the administration duties required of the team.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Access Quest and Aries Desktop to action requests associated with valuation instructions
  • Assign valuation instructions to appropriate panel companies as requested
  • Chase panel companies when requested for outstanding valuation instructions
  • Update notes on Quest when dealing with a valuation instruction
  • Update notes and raise events on Aries when processing valuation instruction queries
  • Carry out regular housekeeping exercise to chase ‘on hold’ valuation instructions with panel
  • Carry out regular housekeeping exercise to chase panel surveyors re valuation instructions
  • Monitor and process the Site Notes database
  • Process site notes, ensuring they are scanned to Aries
  • Monitor all high signs to ensure appropriate site notes are signed off and imaged to Aries
  • Update team spreadsheets as required
  • Produce the ‘Duty Surveyor Rota’ within agreed timeframe
  • Process the in-house surveyors general and petrol expenses with SLA
  • Deal with incoming post associated with the administration tasks
  • Administer panel invoices as required and within SLA
  • Scan documentation as required
  • Ensure all appropriate databases are read and actioned accordingly
  • Ensure all Ehub training sessions completed
  • Undertake tasks to assist and support the Manager and also other areas of the business

About You

  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to work using own initiative and be capable of organising, prioritising and completing workloads within set timeframes
  • Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Relate well to people at all levels
  • Ability to challenge business policies, processes and procedures in a constructive and effective manner
  • Flexible approach to working requirements, including hours worked and tasks undertaken
  • Understanding and knowledge of the different property valuations and surveyors duties
Qualifications and experience
Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Working hours
37.5 hours per week – whilst our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch) we encourage flexible working and your preferred options will be considered.

Relevant training will be provided.
