What you’ll be doing

• Lead Finance Systems Improvement
  Drive the development, optimisation and ongoing enhancement of finance systems, processes and controls to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Build and Monitor Finance Interfaces
  Manage the daily monitoring, maintenance and enhancement of finance system interfaces, including the development of new interfaces and the optimisation of existing integrations to improve efficiency, control and reliability.
• Enhance Reporting & Data Integrity
  Support the delivery of accurate financial, management and regulatory reporting by maintaining robust data, systems and reporting controls.
• Partner Across the Business
  Work closely with Finance, Data Analytics, IT and wider business teams to translate business requirements into effective system and process solutions that support strategic objectives.
• Drive Automation & Continuous Improvement
  Champion new technologies, automation and best practices to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce risk and deliver greater value across the Finance function.

What you’ll bring to the team

Essential 

• Strong Finance Systems Expertise
  Proven understanding of finance systems, financial controls and data management, with a solid grasp of accounting principles and transactional flows.
• Analysis & Problem-Solving Skills
  Ability to evaluate complex business requirements, analyse financial and operational data, and design scalable system and process solutions that deliver accurate financial information.
• Stakeholder Management & Change Delivery
  Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working across Finance, IT and business teams to lead change initiatives and deliver successful projects.
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation Mindset
  Passion for automation, new technologies and process optimisation, combined with a proactive approach to risk management, governance.
  
 
Desirable 
• An accounting or accountancy qualification or relevant experience
• Knowledge or experience with CODA (Unit 4 Financials) or other accounting ERPs
• Financial Services experience
• SQL knowledge

Working hours

Hybrid working 37.5 hours per week – Standard working Monday to Friday (3 days in the office) + Flexible for deployments and upgrade monitoring.
