About the Role

Job Purpose
 
Responsible for performing the day-to-day functions required to ensure the operational systems being used by the Bank are available, monitored, maintained, and in the event of issues occurring the performing of corrective actions.
 
Key Duties
 
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • The monitoring of the Banks systems to ensure they are available in line with Service Level Agreements
  • The logging and escalating of any system issues identified by the Bank’s system’s monitoring tools
  • Performing the necessary corrective actions to recover failing services
  • Performing User Account management across the Bank’s systems
  • The maintenance of batch processing including the backup and recovery procedures
  • Developing, reviewing and executing standard operating procedures
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of solutions to treat problems
  • Providing stand-by support out of operating hours if needed (on a Rota basis)
 
Key Skills
 
  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written form
  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written form at all levels from junior staff to senior management
  • Organizational skills to ensure delivery is efficient, accurate and conducted in a timely manner
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks working to tight deadlines
Working Hours
 

37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday covering 7:30am to 6pm on a Rota basis.
