About the Role

Purpose of the role
Office based telephone business development assistant responsible for driving new business flows from a defined group of intermediaries by building and maintaining business relationships. You will also be required to liaise with the underwriting and support teams to ensure service standards are being met.
 
Duties and responsibilities
  • Establish regular contact with a pre-defined group of intermediaries who are not actively targeted by the Regional Sales Managers and generate incremental business to support business plan, ensuring that quality is maintained by building trust between intermediary and lender
  • Monitor and report on competition
  • Use intermediary feedback to recommend and assist in the development of new processes and products
  • Liaise with the underwriting and support teams to ensure service standards are being met
  • Support introducers in an empathetic, confident and knowledgeable manner
  • Ensure all tasks are completed and delivered in line with agreed deadlines and service standards
  • Attend training courses that are identified to assist in personal and role development

Qualifications and experience
Experience of working in a targeted environment and the buy-to-let mortgage industry would be beneficial.
 
Working hours
37.5 hours per week – whilst our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch) we encourage flexible working and your preferred options will be considered.
